I painted this small piece on one of those rare Oregon coast mornings when the light is so clear and bright it almost doesn't feel real. The sand glows pink and gold, the water is an impossible turquoise, and the headland sits dark and quiet against a soft, blushing sky. I wanted to capture just that — nothing more. Small in size but big in feeling, this piece is a lovely addition to a coastal home, beach cottage, or anywhere you want a daily reminder of the ocean.
