This is another of the beloved Gearhart benches — this one sitting quietly in the dune grass on a soft, misty morning. On days like this the coast takes on a dreamlike quality, everything muted and still, Tillamook Head barely visible through the haze. I find these benches so moving — they exist purely as an invitation to sit, to look, to do nothing but watch the ocean. The palette here is gentle: sage, celadon, warm gold, and soft gray, all blending into one another the way the land and sea do on a foggy day. A serene and timeless piece that works beautifully in a coastal, cottage, or Scandinavian-inspired interior.
